The Charm of Victoria

After Gary and I left the Cape May Zoo, we ventured into the town of Cape May, down near the waterfront where you can find the old Victorian houses.   We were only able to walk those sidewalks about half an hour because we had a ferry to catch.    These are a few of the sights that caught my eye in those hurried moments ....

Anyone who has ever visited Cape May knows that half an hour is just not long enough to satisfy one's love of architectural beauty ... the beckoning porches, the gingerbread trim, the lovingly-kept gardens.   I guess that means we will just need to return!

Thanks so much for visiting

What a beautiful place, the homes and buildings are so wonderfully made. And I just love the front porches with comfy rockers and chairs, makes you want to go and sit a spell.
