The leaves are always so beautiful this time of year.

I love the poem about Autumn written by Emily Dickinson:

The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.

The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.

These are so beautiful, love the lingering moments of fall that you've captured

What lovely autumn pictures, Frances! I am trying to savor these last days of autumn glory...but when it's over, I'll just come back to this post and soak it all in again.

And please do come see my cabinets when they are all finished!

{{{Hugs to you, my friend...}}}
