The Fall ...

Directly across the road from the old barns in my last posting was this old abandoned and crumbling church.    It sits beside a lovely river, just looking sad.








Sometimes when I see old churches in this condition, I wonder if this is a reflection of what God sees in much of "the church" today ....

"Search me, O God, and know my heart"
(Psalm 139:23)

WOW!!! What an amazing find. I LOVE these shots. They are all very beautiful. Interesting observation about the condition of "the church"....at times I wonder about that too. Thanks for sharing.

You make the ruins look so beautiful through your lens! I didn't even know that there were any ruins that looked like this one the Eastern Shore. I love the ivy and growing over the stones and tall windows.
